Welcome back, thanks for joining me for the Weekend Writing Warrior blog hop. Every week, writers post 8-10 sentences of their WIP, were others read, comment and like. The sign-up list is opened Monday so if you’re interested in participating then check the link below, follow the instructions and you are good to go!
Continuing with A Flip of a Coin, we find Chris facing Flann’s judging eyes. (note: this is edited to fit the 8-10 sentence rules)
“What were you stealing from the Cathredal?” Flann asked curtly.
“Just watching the show,” Chris lied.
“You’re not going to tell me who you’re working for?”
“I suppose it depends on whether you tell me who you’re working for.”
“I ain’t someone’s lackey!” he argued, slamming his fist on the armrest. “People work for me, not the other way around,” he added taking a swing from a bottle.
“And those blue bloods happen to just stop by eh?” Few things in Lollardume scared Chris and Flann wasn’t one of them.
“Ack! They just trying to weasel into my territory.”
“I’m assuming they had a price?”
That’s it for now, hope you all enjoy your week and I’ll see you next time.
